Advocacy (often through stakeholder coalitions) towards policymakers via different channels. EFIC is a member of several expert/stakeholder groups in the European Commission
Monitoring of policy developments at EU (and national) level in several areas that may affect the furniture industry and providing information to members via different channels
Digesting and analysing policy developments through briefings; creating industry position papers in close collaboration with members
Close relationship to CEN TC 207 via members, especially relevant in the future in connection to the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation.
